Inpatient Occupational Therapist – Fulltime 30 Hours Per Week

Aiken Regional Medical Centers, located in Aiken, South Carolina, is a 273-bed acute care facility providing top quality and safe healthcare to the residents of Aiken and surrounding communities since 1917. Occupational Therapist is to provide Occupational Therapy services (evaluation, treatment plan development, treatment, delegation of treatment, and discharge planning) to patients in the inpatient rehab setting in accordance with facility policy, standards, and philosophy.

Job duties include conducting evaluations, developing appropriate treatment plans, implementing treatment plans, participating in committees and task forces, providing patient and family education, meeting documentation standards, charging accurately for services, performing thorough and efficient chart review, communicating positively with interdisciplinary team members, delivering services timely and cost effectively, displaying excellent customer service skills, performing all other duties as assigned, delegating patient care to COTA, and assisting other departments during staffing shortages.

Qualifications: Job requirements include a degree from an accredited program of Occupational Therapy (Bachelor's or Master's), prefer 1 year experience in inpatient rehab setting but not required, current SC license, BLS, effective communication skills, effective interpersonal skills, clinical competence, and must successfully pass any pre-employment assessments by the facility.
