Job Title: Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) - Correctional Facility Location: Ione, CA Job Type: Full-time Shifts: 8-hour shifts, 5 days a week Salary: $55/hour with the option of stipend Experience: Minimum of 1 year We are seeking a skilled and experienced Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join our team at a Correctional Facility in Ione, CA. As an LVN, you will be responsible for providing quality nursing care to our patients and ensuring their safety and well-being. Responsibilities: Administer medication and treatment as ordered by the physician Monitor patients' vital signs and report any significant changes to the physician Assist with the implementation of patient care plans Provide education to patients about their health conditions and treatment options Maintain accurate patient records and documentation Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care Qualifications: Active LVN license in the state of California Minimum of 1 year of experience in a healthcare setting Current BLS certification Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Must be able to pass a background check Benefits: Healthcare Benefits through Nightingale's List Ongoing Assignment with potential to become State Employee Morning and Evening shifts available Opportunity for Temp to Perm Staff with exceptional State Benefits Paid Sick Time Direct Deposit Weekly Paychecks Begin assignment within 2-4 weeks of starting process Requirements
