General Laborer

Shipping and Receiving Clerk

$20-21/hr / 1st Shift / Early in-early out / Benefits / Start Asap!

This role supports warehouse operations by performing shipping and receiving activities, managing inventory, and handling materials safely and efficiently. You will use RF scanners and other warehouse equipment to track, move, and organize products while maintaining accuracy and productivity in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily shipping and receiving duties, including loading, unloading, and verifying incoming and outgoing shipments.
• Pick and prepare orders accurately according to shipping documentation and customer requirements.
• Track, maintain, and organize products and materials throughout the warehouse to ensure accurate inventory levels.
• Utilize RF scanners to locate, scan, and update product information in the system.
• Assist with inventory management activities, including cycle counts and stock replenishment.
• Operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and, when applicable, sit-down forklifts in a safe and efficient manner.
• Palletize products for storage and shipment, ensuring secure and stable loads.
• Follow established production and packaging procedures to meet quality and productivity standards.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in accordance with warehouse and manufacturing guidelines.
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively to support smooth warehouse operations.

Essential Skills

• At least 2+ years of shipping experience in a warehouse or similar environment.
• Previous manufacturing experience.
• Experience with shipping and receiving processes, including order picking and packaging.
• Ability to use RF scanners for tracking and managing inventory.
• Proficiency in material handling, including pallet jack operation.
• Attention to detail with a strong focus on accuracy in inventory and order fulfillment.
• Demonstrated good attitude, reliability, and willingness to support team objectives.
• Comfort working in a production and warehouse setting with physical tasks such as lifting, moving, and palletizing materials.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Some sit-down forklift experience preferred.
• Previous experience using an ERP system for inventory or warehouse management.
• Experience with palletizing products for storage and shipment.
• Experience in general labor and production work within a warehouse environment.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and support multiple warehouse tasks as needed.

Work Environment

This position is based in a warehouse environment within a manufacturing setting. The facility is temperature-controlled, providing a comfortable work climate regardless of season. You will regularly work with RF scanners, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment, and may operate a sit-down forklift if qualified. The role involves standing, walking, lifting, and palletizing throughout the shift, as well as working around production and packaging activities. This is a Contract position based out of Cincinnati, OH.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $21.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
