Our team provides qualified Accounting and Finance professionals on a temporary and permanent basis across a broad range of industries. GHJ's relationship with our Global Advisoryand Accounting Network provides the resources needed to better understand client's needs, attract a higher caliber of candidates and assess candidate potential. A company in the food manufacturing/distribution space is seeking a Controller to lead accounting operations, financial reporting, and strategic financial planning. This role oversees the accounting team and supports executive leadership with analysis, forecasting, and business insights. Key Responsibilities Lead financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting Oversee accounting operations, including AP, AR, and general ledger Prepare and analyze financial reports and provide business insights Manage cash flow, risk, and investment strategies Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies Build financial models and support strategic decision-making Supervise and develop the accounting team Qualifications CPA required 5+ years of accounting experience (manufacturing experience required) Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting Experience with ERP systems and financial analysis tools Strong analytical and leadership skills $150,000 - $180,000 a year #GHJSS #LI-JE1 We may use artificial intelligence (AI) tools to support parts of the hiring process, such as reviewing applications, analyzing resumes, or assessing responses and identifying potential inconsistencies or verification signals in application materials based on available information.
