CNC Maintenance Technician

If that's how you approach your work, we'd like to meet you.What You'll DoAs our CNC Maintenance Technician, you'll be responsible for keeping our machining operations running safely and efficiently by:Troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and CNC control issuesPerforming preventive and predictive maintenance to maximize equipment uptimeDiagnosing equipment failures and identifying permanent corrective actionsRepairing and rebuilding machine components including spindles, ballscrews, guide rails, pumps, valves, and drive systemsOperating manual machine tools to fabricate and modify replacement partsReading blueprints, electrical schematics, hydraulic diagrams, and technical documentationPerforming precision alignments and machine calibration using precision measuring equipmentTroubleshooting PLCs and CNC controls including Fanuc, Haas, Siemens, Okuma, or similar platformsSupporting continuous improvement initiatives that improve reliability and reduce downtimeWorking closely with operators to improve machine performance and prevent recurring failuresMaintaining accurate maintenance documentation and a safe work environmentYou're Probably a Great Fit If You...Enjoy solving problems that others can't figure outTake pride in preventing breakdowns, not just fixing themThink through root causes instead of treating symptomsCan work independently while being a dependable teammateBelieve good maintenance is about reliability, not just repairsLike building, fabricating, and improving equipmentWe aren't looking for someone to simply respond when a machine goes down. Apply today and help build the reliability that keeps BCI moving.What You Bring3+ years of industrial maintenance experience, preferably in CNC machining or manufacturingStrong mechanical troubleshooting skillsExperience with industrial electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systemsAbility to read mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, and technical manualsExperience operating manual machining equipmentWelding and fabrication experience preferredPLC troubleshooting experience is a plusTechnical degree or industrial maintenance certification is helpful, but hands-on experience matters most
