Cardiology Care Team OpportunitySt. David's Medical Center is seeking a full-time Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (ACNP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our dynamic cardiology care team. This hospital-based role focuses on delivering high-quality care to post-surgical and ICU cardiac patients, supporting both cardiologists and cardiovascular surgeons in Austin, TX.Qualified Candidates:Board-certified Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (ACNP) or Physician Assistant (PA)Texas licensure requiredNo Family Nurse Practitioners (FNPs)Hospital-based APPMinimum of 2-3 years' experience in cardiology and/or ICU settingsStrong clinical assessment and decision-making skillsExcellent communication and teamwork abilitiesJob Details:Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–4:00 PMNo night shiftsProvide inpatient cardiac care, including rounding, assessments, and care coordination.Develop and implement discharge plans under the supervision of cardiology providers.Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.Cover patient care responsibilities at St. David's Medical Center.Participate in weekend and holiday rounding across St. David's HealthCare hospitals (approximately one weekend every two months).Incentive/Benefits Package:Competitive salaryFull benefits including health, dental, vision401k with matchingCMEPTOClient Details:City: AustinState: TX
