MARKETING MANAGER — COMMERCIAL PC

We are recruiting this role on behalf of a well-established independent insurance agency. Every quote, every submission, every carrier relationship — this role is built for someone who loves the new business hunt.

Location: Allentown PA | Full-time | PA PC License required | 5+ years preferred

THE OPPORTUNITY

Our client is an established independent insurance agency with a strong Commercial PC book and the producer team to grow it further. They are looking for a Marketing Manager who will be the engine behind every new account they write — building submissions, negotiating coverage terms, and owning the carrier relationships that make placement possible.

This is not a service or renewal-management role. It is a strategy-first position for someone who gets genuine satisfaction from finding the right market for a complex risk, going back and forth with underwriters to earn the best terms, and being the person in the room who knows what is possible.

WHAT THE ROLE INVOLVES

- Building comprehensive submissions for prospective commercial accounts — working directly with Producers to execute the right marketing strategy for each risk

- Negotiating terms, conditions, and pricing directly with underwriters — this person knows how to ask for what an account deserves and how to make the case

- Owning the agency's carrier relationships — attending carrier meetings, managing access, addressing performance concerns, and sharing market updates with staff

- Serving as the agency's market expert — the first call for appetite questions, coverage research, and anything requiring deep commercial lines knowledge

- Preparing polished presentation materials, coverage summaries, and binding documentation — from proposals and certificates to auto ID cards

- Supporting Account Managers and Producers on renewals and re-marketing — this person's market knowledge lifts the whole team

- Tracking new and lost business monthly and contributing to Commercial Lines leadership meetings with data and market insight

WHAT OUR CLIENT IS LOOKING FOR

- Active Pennsylvania Property Casualty insurance license

- 5+ years in a commercial lines marketing or placement role

- Solid understanding of commercial PC products, markets, and underwriting

- Strong written and verbal communication — comfortable negotiating with underwriters and presenting to clients

- Proficiency in Epic, Microsoft Word, and Excel

- CIC, AAI, CISR, or CPCU designation — or genuine pursuit of one
