Job Description

Work Environment
This role is based in a large, clean, and well-lit manufacturing facility that is fully climate controlled, providing a comfortable work setting year-round. The site includes both production and warehouse areas, with exposure to mechanical and electrical assembly operations as well as inventory and kitting activities. You will work on a structured shift schedule, with daylight hours from 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. and second shift hours from 2:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. Overtime is mandatory on Saturdays and is typically a 5-hour day. Second shift receives a shift differential. The environment emphasizes safety, organization, and professionalism, with appropriate work attire suitable for a manufacturing and warehouse setting.

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $26.00/hr.

Responsibilities
- Clean parts and components as needed to prepare them for assembly or further processing.
- Perform general production and mechanical assembly duties according to work instructions and quality standards.
- Use basic mechanical skills and tools to assemble parts and subassemblies accurately and efficiently.
- Support the warehouse and inventory department when needed by performing kitting activities and organizing parts for production.
- Operate a forklift in the warehouse area when trained and authorized, following all safety procedures.
- Inspect work for accuracy and quality, applying strong attention to detail throughout the assembly process.
- Follow all safety guidelines, work instructions, and standard operating procedures within the manufacturing facility.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals and complete tasks on schedule.
- Remain open to learning new tasks, processes, and equipment as required by production needs.
- Strong attention to detail in all aspects of assembly and production work.
- Willingness to learn new tasks, processes, and tools.
- Previous manufacturing or hands-on experience in a production, mechanical, or similar environment.
- Basic mechanical skills and comfort working with tools and equipment.
- Ability to perform mechanical assembly tasks accurately and consistently.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and standard operating procedures.
- Reliability and willingness to work mandatory overtime when required, including Saturdays.
- Experience in electrical assembly or mechanical assembly.
- Skillset in HVAC, production, construction, automotive technology, or similar hands-on trades.
- Experience in quality control within a manufacturing environment.
- Experience working in a warehouse or inventory department.
- Experience with kitting activities, including organizing and preparing parts for production.
- Forklift experience or willingness to be trained on forklift operation.
