Shift Manager

Overview Managers lead shifts every week, ensuring customers receive a fast, accurate, friendly experience. A Shift Manager provides leadership to crew and other managers during a shift to maintain high quality, service, and cleanliness for customers. Responsibilities Planning for each shift Monitoring performance during the shift Taking action to ensure the team meets McDonald’s standards Monitoring safety, security, and profitability Communicating with the next Shift Manager to aid in shift handover Meeting targets during shifts Assisting assigned departments to meet their goals Key Tasks Food Safety Internal Communication Inventory Management Daily Maintenance and Cleanliness Managing Crew Quality Food Production Exceptional Customer Service Safety and Security Scheduling Training Qualifications Previous leadership experience is preferred, ideally within a restaurant, retail, or hospitality environment. Candidates should be positive team players, flexible with schedules, and able to thrive in a fast‑paced environment. Must be 18 years or older to manage in our corporate‑owned and operated restaurants.
