Job Details Setting: Neuro ICU / Neurotrauma ICU Location: Baltimore, MD 21201 Assignment Length: 13 weeks Start Date: September 2026 Shift: Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM) Hours Per Week: 36 Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,850 - $1,950 Schedule: Every other weekend required; holidays as scheduled Floating: May be required within specialty or lower-acuity areas as needed On-Call: May be required Job Requirements Active Maryland RN license or compact license at time of submission Minimum 2 years of ICU or Neuro ICU experience preferred; strong first-time travelers with solid Neuro ICU experience may be considered BLS and ACLS required NIHSS and CPI preferred Experience with adult and geriatric critical care patients strongly preferred Ability to work in a high-acuity, fast-paced neurocritical care environment Flu vaccination required; COVID-19 vaccine not required Responsibilities Provide direct nursing care to patients with acute neurological and neurotrauma conditions in a Neuro ICU setting Monitor and manage complex diagnoses such as stroke, intracerebral hemorrhage, subarachnoid hemorrhage, traumatic brain injury, seizures, brain tumors, and cerebral edema Care for patients requiring advanced ICU technology, including ventilators, ICP monitoring, EVDs, cEEG, and infusion devices Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to deliver safe, high-quality critical care Assess, document, and respond quickly to changes in patient condition Support a patient ratio of approximately 1:2, with up to 1:3 for stable, lower-acuity patients Adapt to unit needs while maintaining excellent clinical judgment, professionalism, and patient-centered care Apply now for this Neuro ICU Registered Nurse travel job in Baltimore, Maryland, and take the next step in your healthcare career.
