Program Manager Property Claims Work location: Work from home with some days in the office in Arlington. Core work hours: Monday-Friday 8:00a-5:00p. Summary Manage all first‑party property claims for Texas Health entities (THPG, TH Rockwall, TH Flower Mound) and assist joint ventures. Adjudicate claims, analyze proof of loss, negotiate settlements, oversee reserves, and collaborate with carriers and vendors. Monitor underwriting and exposure data for buildings, assets, vehicles, and other physical assets. Serve as liaison between hospital management and insurers. Job Duties Lead the claims adjustment process for property damage, business interruption, and general liability claims with per‑incident limits ranging from $1M to $10M. Conduct investigations, compile documentation, identify coverage, and determine subrogation and settlement strategies. Maintain claims reserve levels, negotiate settlements, and support loss control and mitigation activities. Act as the insurance liaison for THR stakeholders, carriers, vendors, and consultants. Manage underwriting data: estimate insurable values for buildings, assets, leasehold interests, and other exposures. Document all claims activity in the risk management system and ensure data integrity. Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners to address coverage issues and obtain necessary approvals. Assist in exposure data management for drivers, MVR reports, notaries, volunteers, and storage tanks. Generate periodic presentations and reports on losses, frequency, and severity for leadership. Coordinate resources within THR and with external teams to resolve insurance‑related issues. Education Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Science, Engineering, Business, Finance, or Insurance. Experience 7+ years managing or adjusting commercial property claims. Preferred: 10+ years managing or adjusting commercial property claims. Licenses and Certifications Licensed Property & Casualty Adjuster. Preferred: 90‑day certification within first 90 days of hire. Preferred: Certified Insurance Service Representative within 3 years of hiring. Skills Strong verbal and written communication. Self‑motivated, organized, dependable, with excellent judgment. Analytical skills, basic math, and ability to multitask in a changing environment. Database proficiency and Microsoft Office skills. Knowledge of insurance coverage and policy interpretation.
