Registered Nurse – Orthopedic / Bone & Joint

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on an Orthopedic and Surgical unit during night shift hours
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for orthopedic and post-surgical patients
• Work every other weekend as part of the standard scheduling rotation
• Float to clinically appropriate Med-Surg departments as needed, within scope of practice, licensure, and demonstrated competencies

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Current BLS certification
• Current ACLS certification
• Current NIHSS certification
• Ability and willingness to float to other Med-Surg units as operationally required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in an orthopedic, surgical, or Medical-Surgical nursing setting
• Familiarity with post-operative patient care and recovery protocols
