Title: Electrical Technician

Location: Palo Verde, CA area

Pay: $47-$55/Hour - Relocation Assistance

Schedule: 4x10 (Mon-Thurs or Tues-Fri) - 2 hours of built in overtime each shift

In this position you will have a chance to work on all energized equipment at the plant including electrical and some instrumentation & controls. Our client is willing to provide training and is a diversified energy company with strategic assets in the area.

Job Description:
  • Troubleshooting electrical equipment including MCCs, contactors, breakers, 3 phase motors, and various 480V equipment.

  • Utilizing communication devices to calibrate various instrumentation across the plant.

  • This position is accountable for the safe and efficient installation, maintenance and repair of all plant instrumentation, controls and electrical equipment.

  • The incumbent must be familiar with working on electrical power plant or large industrial electrical equipment.

  • Experience with process control loops and process control systems including PLC-based control systems. Allen Bradley Control Logix. SLC 500

  • Must be able to locate and diagnose problems with instrumentation and control systems and, high voltage electrical systems and equipment.

  • Must be able to utilize guidelines provided by electrical codes, drawings, schematics and use a variety of hand tools, measuring and testing instruments.

  • Must have proven troubleshooting skills.

  • Knowledge of Emission Monitoring systems a plus (CEM).

  • Familiarity with pneumatic instrumentation/positioners & actuators.

  • Familiarity with gas detection analyzers.

  • Knowledge of wastewater treatment instrumentation PH/Conductivity.
