Work Environment\nThis remote position allows you to work from home, offering flexibility in scheduling while maintaining a structured approach to client care. The outpatient setting provides telehealth services, allowing for real-time interaction with clients via secure online platforms. You will have access to advanced electronic health record (EHR) systems to document patient progress and manage treatment plans efficiently.
Key Responsibilities\n- \n
- Conduct thorough assessments of clients’ mental health status through interviews, scales, and diagnostic tools, ensuring accurate and relevant data collection. \n
- Develop tailored treatment plans based on assessment results, integrating evidence-based therapeutic approaches to address individual challenges. \n
- Facilitate regular counseling sessions, employing a variety of therapeutic techniques, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and mindfulness, to help clients process their emotions and develop coping mechanisms. \n
- Provide ongoing support and guidance, assisting clients in setting realistic goals for their mental health and offering strategies to overcome obstacles. \n
- Coordinate care with other healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists and primary care physicians, to ensure comprehensive treatment for clients who may require medication management. \n
- Maintain detailed and accurate case notes and treatment records in compliance with ethical standards and HIPAA regulations. \n
- Participate in team meetings to discuss client progress, share best practices, and collectively develop strategies to enhance service delivery. \n
In this role, you will work with diverse clients facing various mental health concerns, including depression, anxiety, trauma-related issues, substance abuse, and eating disorders. You will be expected to employ culturally competent practices, adapting your therapeutic approaches to meet the unique needs of each client.
Qualifications\n- \n
- A master’s or doctoral degree in Psychology, Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, or related fields from an accredited institution. \n
- Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Texas. \n
- A minimum of four years of direct counseling experience, ideally within an outpatient setting. \n
- A thorough understanding of mental health disorders, treatment methods, and the ability to apply culturally responsive practices in therapy. \n
- Strong crisis intervention skills, demonstrated ability to remain calm under pressure, and a proactive approach to client advocacy. \n
- Proficient in electronic health record systems and other digital communication tools. \n
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills that foster trust and rapport with clients and colleagues. \n

- Experience in providing both individual and group therapy sessions, showcasing adaptability to the therapeutic needs of clients. \n
- Background in trauma-informed care or experience working with diverse populations is highly desirable. \n
- Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development, including relevant certifications and training. \n
