Job Opportunity – Nurse Practitioner / Cardiac Rehabilitation Coordinator – Texas

Start Date: August 3, 2026

Location: Texas

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM with a 1-hour break. Highest patient volume Monday, Wednesday, Thursday (approximately 16 patients/day) with new patient intakes on Tuesday and Friday (2 to 4 patients). No weekends, no call coverage.

Highlights:

• 18-week assignment in an outpatient cardiac rehabilitation setting
• No hospital bedside care, procedures, or cath lab duties – strictly outpatient clinic environment
• Work with a multidisciplinary team including exercise physiologists, rehabilitation technicians, and respiratory therapists
• EMR system: Scottcare Versacare Software
• Supervision of rehabilitation technicians; collaboration with Medical Director on patient care planning
• Bilingual English/Spanish proficiency is highly preferred

Requirements:

• Master of Science Degree or Advanced Nurse Practitioner certification
• Current RN licensure in the State of Texas
• Texas Board of Nurse Examiners (TXBNE) recognition as a Family or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner
• Minimum of two years Cardiac Unit or Telemetry experience required
• BLS and ACLS certification required
• Strong background in cardiac rehabilitation and outpatient clinical settings
