Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON)

Job Description Job Description We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Assistant Director of Nursing to provide high-quality care to residents in a senior living community. You'll play a vital role in managing chronic conditions, administering medications, and supporting overall wellness in a warm, respectful environment. The Assistant Director of Nursing is responsible for assisting the Director of Nursing in overseeing the nursing department in the coordination of care, quality of interventions and outcomes of clinical services. The role interacts with each department within the facility and requires a leader who can lead, motivate, educate and mentor licensed and certified staff. This person must be able to interact well with others and be a contributor to continuous improvement initiatives. Requirements: * Current unrestricted license as a Registered Nurse (RN/LPN) in Missouri. * Knowledgeable of nursing and medical practices and procedures, as well as laws, regulations and guidelines pertaining to long-term care * Current CPR certification * Prefer, as a minimum, two (2) years of experience as a supervisor in a hospital, nursing home, or other related health care facility Company Description St. Andrew's at Francis Place is the leader and preferred provider for long-term skilled nursing care and short-term Medicare rehabilitation in and around the Eureka area.
