Registered Nurse (RN) – Contract Opportunities (California)

Locations: Victorville, Los Angeles, Covina, West Covina, Torrance, CA Specialties: ER, Med Surg, L&D, NICU, Telemetry Schedule: 3×12‑hour shifts weekly Contract Length: 13‑week contract with potential extension

Overview

We are seeking experienced and dedicated Registered Nurses across multiple specialties to support our partner hospitals throughout Southern California . These contract roles are ideal for RNs who excel in fast‑paced clinical environments and are committed to delivering safe, compassionate, and evidence‑based patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high‑quality nursing care aligned with specialty standards (ER, Med Surg, L&D, NICU, Tele).
• Perform assessments, administer medications, and carry out clinical interventions.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the EMR system.
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans and discharge instructions.
• Adhere to all regulatory, safety, and infection‑control protocols.

Requirements

• Active California RN license .
• Minimum 1–2 years of recent experience in the specialty you are applying for.
• Current BLS certification; additional specialty certifications preferred (ACLS, PALS, NRP, etc.).
• Strong communication, critical‑thinking, and clinical assessment skills.
• Ability to work 12‑hour shifts consistently throughout the contract.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in high‑volume or acute‑care hospital settings.
• Specialty certifications (TNCC, ENPC, RNC‑NIC, RNC‑OB, etc.).
• Familiarity with major EMR systems.

Compensation & Schedule

• Competitive hourly rates based on specialty and experience.
• 3×12‑hour shifts weekly (days or nights depending on facility needs).
• Opportunities for contract extension based on performance and facility demand.
