1. General job duties. Types of procedures required.
1. Has a working knowledge of EMTALA guidelines for Critical Access Hospitals
2. Uses Client 5 Level Triage process to ensure timely and appropriate care to patients across the life span
3. Ability to perform assessments and re-assessments per policy on patients across the life span
4. Ability to perform emergency treatment per policy and ACLS/ENPC guidelines
5. Maintains accurate and continued nursing documentation including patient history, medication reconciliation, interventions and responses
6. Ability to communicate with ED providers regarding initial assessment, changes in patient's status and results of diagnostic studies
7. Ability to assist in other units when available

3. Required skills and minimum years of experience.
Current Wyoming Registered Nurse license in good standing
ER Experience


4. Specific licensures and certifications/registrations required. (ARRT, CRT, BLS, ACLS, etc)
? BLS, ACLS required
? ENPC and/or PALS (one is required)
? TNCC (required)
? ABLS (preferred)
? CEN or CCRN preferred
? 2 years of critical care or emergency nursing experience preferred

5. Shift or schedule requirements. (Will the employee ever work alone? Is call required? If so, how often? Are weekends required?)
WEEKENDS REQUIRED - NO CALL UNLESS THEY WANT TO TAKE CALL.

6. Floating to other units/departments. (If so, to which units/departments?)
MED/SURG

7. Bed size/number of rooms for this unit/dept.

8. Nurse to patient ratio of this unit. (nursing only)

ONE ON ONE WITH ANOTHER RN FOR 2-3 SHIFTS

Will float to Med/Surg when there are no ER patients.
