Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $50 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Screen, evaluate, and treat patients to restore function and mobility
Develop and update individualized treatment and discharge plans
Document patient progress accurately and in a timely manner
Supervise and support PTAs and Rehab Techs in accordance with practice acts
Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams and families for comprehensive care
Ensure compliance with safety, infection control, and regulatory standards

Qualifications

Graduate of an APTA-accredited Physical Therapy program (DPT, MSPT, or BSPT)
Active Alabama state PT license or ability to obtain one
Strong communication, documentation, and clinical skills
Flexibility to adapt to varying facilities, schedules, and patient needs
A passion for helping others achieve their best quality of life

Education

Graduate of an APTA-accredited Physical Therapy program (DPT/MSPT/BSPT)

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in physical therapy assessment and treatment planning
Proficient in patient evaluation and functional mobility training
Excellent documentation and communication abilities
Knowledge of state and federal regulations for PT practice
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Compassionate and patient-centered approach
