Department 34404 Atrium Health Floyd Medical Center - Nursing: Medical/Surgical IU Oncology Status Part time Hours Per Week 0 Schedule Details 0700-1900 weekdays. PRN requires 3 shifts every 6‑week schedule period, including 1 weekend shift and 1 major & 1 minor holiday per calendar year. Pay Range $38.20 - $57.30 Location The 18‑bed acute care Medical Oncology Unit provides high‑quality, compassionate care to patients receiving oncology treatment. Primary Patient Population Oncology patients Comfort Care / End of Life / Hospice / Palliative Care patients General medical/surgical patients requiring acute care Responsibilities Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures. Utilize evidence‑based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skillful communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and best patient experience across the continuum. Qualifications Completion of an accredited or approved nursing program. Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices. Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association.
