Steward & Event Operations

Established, Michigan Based Catering Company is expanding and looking to add a Steward and Event Operations member to the team. POSITION SUMMARY: You will be an integral part of the company providing memorable and positive events! If you love working in a team environment, organization, cleaning and are excited about the hospitality industry, this position is for you. This person would Sort and rinse dirty dishes, glass tableware and other cooking utensils and place them in racks to send through the dish machine. Sort and stack clean dishes. Carry clean dishes to cook line and other proper storage areas. Set up or break down the dishwashing area. Wipe up spills. Assist with weekly and monthly cleaning projects as assigned Load and unload trucks with maximum efficiency and timeliness. Assist with event logistics Understand equipment knowledge and management Maintain safety standards Provide the highest level of hospitality during events (with internal or external teams). Job Requirements Valid Drivers License/Chauffeur's License No DWI/DUI in the past 5 years, Must have reliable transportation Able to work evenings and weekends when necessary Must be able to lift 50 pounds Position requires extended periods of standing time Act with integrity, honesty and promote the culture of the company.
