Job Opportunity – Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse – Georgia

Start Date: August 17, 2026
Location: Georgia

Schedule: 12-hour shifts; every other weekend required; holiday coverage based on assignment period

Highlights:

• 36-bed Neuro/Stroke Progressive Care Unit with average daily census of 30 patients
• Patient ratio of 1:4 with continuous telemetry monitoring
• Diverse patient population including adults and geriatrics with neuro, stroke, respiratory, cardiac, and mixed medical diagnoses
• Epic EMR system with support from IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, and rapid response teams
• Titration of cardiac drips required; experience with BiPap/CPAP management preferred
• First-time travelers accepted with minimum 1 year of experience

Requirements:

• Active RN license (Georgia or Compact state)
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale certifications required
• Minimum 1 year of nursing experience; PCU/step-down experience strongly preferred
• Experience with cardiac telemetry monitoring and titration of cardiac drips
• Proficiency with central line care, blood product administration, dysrhythmia management, and non-invasive airway management
• Epic charting experience preferred
• Ability to float within facility as needed based on scope of practice
