Must-Have:

• Ability to float across ICU, MS, and PCU.
• Willingness to float to the ED as a helping hand.
• Experience with managing higher ratios in critical care settings.
• Strong PCU RN experience considered.
• Charge experience preferred.

Description:

Candidates must confirm awareness of floating requirements. Registered Nurses will be scheduled for 4x12 shifts from 19:00 to 07:30. Guaranteed hours are based on full-time status. Nurses will manage a diverse patient population including conditions such as ARDS, COPD, STEMI, NSTEMI, DKA, AKI, and acute shock. Candidates must be proficient in ventilator management, arterial line management, central line care, and the care of ventilated patients. They should also be able to interpret arterial blood gases and dysrhythmias. Experience with advanced equipment such as hypothermia protocol and intra-aortic balloon pumps is preferred, although instances of use are rare. Floating is mandatory between ICU, MS, and PCU, along with assisting in the ED when needed. Candidates are required to work two out of three major holidays. Only candidates with a valid in-state license and required certifications will be considered. First-time travelers are not accepted for this position.
