Job Overview
We are looking for detail-oriented and motivated individuals to join our Compounding Department. We are currently hiring across multiple levels—from Assistant and Junior Compounders to experienced Compounding Leads .
In this role, you will be responsible for the precise blending and mixing of liquid ingredients to create high-quality food and supplement products. This is a technical, "hands-on" position that requires a strong focus on measurements, safety, and strict adherence to formulas.
Core Responsibilities
- Batching & Mixing: Accurately weigh, measure, and combine raw materials according to Master Batch Records (MBR).
- Equipment Operation: Operate industrial mixers, blenders, pumps, and scales; ensure all equipment is cleaned and sanitized (CIP/COP) between batches.
- Quality Control: Monitor temperatures, pH levels, and mixing speeds to ensure the final product meets chemical and physical specifications.
- Documentation: Maintain precise, real-time records of all ingredients used and steps taken during the compounding process.
- Safety & Compliance: Follow all cGMP, FDA, and OSHA safety guidelines, including the proper handling of chemicals and raw materials.
- Leadership (Lead Level): Oversee the daily workflow of the compounding suite, train junior staff, and troubleshoot batch deviations.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience in compounding, batching, or chemical mixing (Food, Pharma, or Cosmetics preferred).
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent; technical certification is a plus.
- Language: Bilingual (English/Spanish) is strongly preferred.
- Mathematical Skills: Strong ability to perform basic math and conversions (grams, liters, kilograms).
- Physical Stamina: Ability to handle heavy raw materials (up to 50 lbs) and stand for the duration of the shift.
