Regional Proposal Specialist

Job Overview Lead a geographical region on the east coast of the U.S., managing distributors, end customers, integrators, and contractors. Provide support and pricing strategies for Intelligent Device products and services and coordinate product offerings with third‑party power and packaging equipment, including e‑scada systems. Assist distributors with technical builds, work with Proposal Development Team, and manage wind strategy calls, PARB calls, pricing agreements, and forecasting. Responsibilities Handle distributor/customer requests, manage quotation and pricing requests submitted to the Regional Proposal Specialist. Strategize opportunities with sales and channel partners, provide input to increase successes through the Win Strategy process. Support training classes for channel teams and distributor specialists to build self‑service quoting capabilities. Ensure successful outcomes of assigned projects, collaborate and lead commercially and technically with Proposal Specialists, Proposal Development Team, Sales Offices, Channel Partners, RA Business Units, Contracts and Negotiations. Negotiate internally and externally using sound understanding of cost, value, and profit margin; obtain approvals in compliance with Rockwell policies, including executive level approvals. Participate in PARB level approval meetings, creating risk analysis information within the CATE tool. Maintain daily business tools and report important activities such as forecasting and direct customer communications for projects. Seek continuous improvement through feedback and training opportunities, strengthen skills required for the role. Build relationships with partners and integrators for integration of complete solutions; serve as regional expert for Low Voltage Motor Control Centers, Medium Voltage Drives, Medium Voltage Motor Control Centers, and Engineered Water configured Low Voltage Drives. Support distributors with proposals, instill confidence in solutions, and apply engineering skills to qualify opportunities, qualify applications, and build trust. Network internally to understand and apply product synergies. Follow all applicable corporate, company, governmental and regulatory procedures. Essentials Bachelor’s degree. Legal authorization to work in the U.S.; no visa sponsorship. Ability to travel up to 10% of the time. Preferred 5+ years of experience with electrical systems and installation. Experience with prefabricated modular buildings, single liner drawings, motors, switchgear, transformers, and PLCs. Experience with packaged power systems. Previous sales experience. Project management skills. Knowledge of industrial products and applications. Experience working in cross‑regional teams. Experience developing proposals, conveying project status updates, design information, technical issues/resolutions, and completing project milestone reviews. Demonstrated customer (internal and external) relationship skills. Compensation and Benefits Base Salary Compensation: $82,960.00 – $124,440.00 USD Annual with an annual target bonus of 5% of base salary.
