Specialist Lead, Pursuit Strategy (Health Designer)

Work You'll Do

This experienced design professional will lead the development, design, and coordination of client proposals, presentations, and related business development projects. This position requires experience in multiple software packages and the ability to produce large volumes of work consistently and accurately. They will also be responsible for complying with firm branding guidelines, departmental procedures and standards, internal client preferences and instructions, and mandatory solicitation requirements. The Designer must routinely address shifting priorities, stringent deadlines, and last-minute requirements to accomplish tasks within non-negotiable client deadlines. Additionally, you will:

• Conceive, design, and produce a full range of high-impact print and digital collateral to include, but are not limited to: infographics, presentations, proposals, etc.
• Review solicitation requirements, style guides, and submission instructions to ensure all documents comply with format, branding, accessibility, and delivery requirements.
• Perform desktop publishing activities, including document formatting, layout design, template application, pagination, graphics integration, and production quality assurance.
• Conduct detailed quality reviews to verify document structure, formatting, section organization, fonts, headers/footers, tables, graphics, and other visual elements align with established requirements.
• Develop and manage the overarching design themes using design building blocks: cover, callouts, iconography, infographics, photography, language.
• Strategically interface and brainstorm with senior PPMDs about visual displays of information. Grasp the substance of business issues being communicated. Re-articulate visual options that enhance or clarify audience understanding.
• Ensure all artistic elements of the proposal/presentation adhere to the theme and deliver Deloitte Differentiators consistently across all deliverables.
• Follow the Deloitte brand, visual identity, legal guidelines, and messaging. Ensure compliance with brand and visual identity as needed.
• Demonstrate a high level of professionalism through actions and communication, ensuring accuracy and timely completion of tasks.

Qualifications

Required:

• 6+ years of design experience
• Bachelor's degree with preferred concentration in Marketing, Communications, Art, or Business.
• 4+ years of experience in MS PowerPoint, Word, Excel; Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
• 4+ years of experience in typography, layout, composition, color theory, and information design.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
• Ability to travel 10%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve

Preferred:

• Proposal Design, Development, and Production experience
• Fluency in Digital Media apps
• Comfort with enterprise collaboration (Teams/SharePoint) and structured version control for proposal artifacts

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $88,600 to $147,600.

You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
