About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President for Website Governance to join a new team dedicated to establishing an enterprise-wide framework for website standards, adoption, and maintenance. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating a comprehensive operating model that manages various stakeholder groups, including senior leadership, and developing a communication strategy that ensures engagement and participation. This role requires the establishment of a set of website standards that align with regulatory needs, the development of a measurement framework for key areas such as accessibility and data privacy, and the creation of a central global inventory of all web properties. The Vice President will also be involved in the development and activation of a ratification process for global web domains and will serve as the business owner for the enterprise-level cookie management platform. Applicants for the Vice President, Website Governance position at the company should have 7-10 years of relevant experience, with a preference for those with a background in financial services or a similarly regulated industry. The role demands a deep knowledge of the digital landscape, particularly in the areas of data privacy regulation, cookie management, accessibility standards, and website best practices. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in leading cookie management platforms and be well-versed in consent and data privacy regulation. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential, as is the ability to work with a high level of attention to detail, organization, and the capacity to lead through influence in a collaborative environment. A self-starter with strong relationship-building capabilities and a strategic yet operational mindset will thrive in this role.
