Social Media Marketing Intern

Overview EntryPoint is a web application that helps international students navigate their first months in the United States. We turn complicated government and university information into clear, personalized action steps covering topics such as Social Security numbers, tax treaties, health insurance, CPT/OPT, important deadlines, and scam prevention. Our guidance is linked to official sources for accuracy and transparency. EntryPoint’s integrated AI assistant helps students understand and navigate these processes, making the platform a reliable companion as they adjust to life in the United States. About the Internship EntryPoint is looking for a creative and motivated Social Media Marketing Intern to help us build an engaging online community ahead of our launch. You will work directly with two co-founders who have marketing experience and will provide mentorship in content strategy, audience development, brand positioning, production, and performance analysis. EntryPoint will also provide access to podcast studios, cameras, microphones, and other content-production equipment. What You’ll Do Help develop and execute EntryPoint’s social media content strategy. Create engaging short-form videos, posts, stories, and other content for Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook. Participate in in-person content-production sessions using EntryPoint’s studio and equipment. Research trends, content formats, and topics relevant to international students and young adults. Test creative strategies for increasing followers, engagement, and brand awareness. Help maintain a consistent brand voice and content calendar. Monitor basic performance metrics and use the results to recommend improvements. Gather feedback from international students and help turn their questions and experiences into useful content. Support community engagement by responding to basic comments and messages using approved guidance. Collaborate with the founders on launch campaigns, partnerships, and student outreach. Content planning, brand positioning, and campaign execution. Social media analytics and performance reporting. Marketing to international and student audiences. How a technology product prepares for and executes a public launch. Qualifications Strong written and verbal communication skills. Familiarity with Instagram, TikTok, and YT. Interest in content creation, social media strategy, and audience growth. Comfortable recording or producing short-form video content. Organized, dependable, and able to manage multiple assignments. Willing and able to attend occasional in-person sessions in Nashville. Previous social media, content-creation, or community-management experience is preferred but not required. A portfolio, social media account, or examples of previous work are strongly encouraged. Familiarity with the experiences and challenges international students face—through personal, academic, professional, or volunteer experience—is a plus. Compensation and Future Opportunities This is an unpaid, education-focused internship. The internship does not guarantee future employment.
