Restaurant Department Manager - Service, Kitchen & People Lead

This job posting is for a position in a restaurant owned and operated by an independent franchisee and not McDonald’s USA. The franchisee is the sole employer responsible for all employment matters at the restaurant. Responsibilities Managers lead weekly shifts, ensuring customers get a fast, accurate, friendly experience every visit. Some managers also lead departments such as Training, Food Safety, and Inventory Management, setting goals, delegating tasks, following up, and reporting results to their team and other managers. The Guest Service Department Manager ensures Crew and Managers deliver a great customer experience, that sales promotions are executed well, that all service staff is trained in service procedures, and that the Front Counter McCafé and Drive‑Thru areas are organized for the best service. The Kitchen Department Manager ensures the restaurant delivers great quality food to customers quickly, that food is always safe, food cost is controlled, and all kitchen staff is trained in production procedures, including newly added menu items. The People Department Manager ensures the restaurant hires qualified Crew, trains them well, and schedules them to meet sales and profit goals. The manager’s responsibilities include ensuring Crew gets off to a good start and is recognized and motivated throughout their time at the restaurant. Qualifications You must be 18 or older. Previous managerial experience is preferred, ideally within a restaurant, retail, or hospitality environment. We are looking for positive team players with flexible schedules who enjoy working in a fast‑paced environment and have a passion for service.
