Job Opportunity – Cardiovascular Intensive Care Nurse (CVICU RN) – Montana

Start Date: August 25, 2026

Location: Great Falls, Montana

Schedule: Full-time RN position in a 10-bed CVICU specializing in immediate post-operative open heart recovery and critical cardiac care

Highlights:

• Immediate post-operative open heart recovery experience required – caring for the most critical cardiac patients from day one
• Expanding cardiac services program with increasing acuity and advanced procedural support
• 10-bed ICU within a 36-bed inpatient facility focused on comprehensive cardiac and critical care services
• Diverse patient populations including post-PCI, pacemaker, revascularization, carotid endarterectomy, thoracotomy, CHF, COPD, and complex medical-surgical cases
• Advanced medical equipment utilization including ventilator support, A-lines, central lines, chest tubes, and hemodynamic monitoring
• Opportunity for clinical leadership and precepting responsibilities with collaborative team environment

Requirements:

• Current Montana RN Licensure (or ability to obtain)
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• Recent open heart recovery and CVICU experience required
• Critical care training with demonstrated competency in immediate post-operative cardiac patient management
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certification required
• Proficiency with invasive lines, ventilatory support (invasive and non-invasive), and cardiac telemetry/EKG interpretation
