Part-Time Direct Support Staff or Caregiver in Licensed Group Home in Moorpark

Mon thru Fri, 2pm to 6pm $20/hr.

We are a licensed group home supporting three young adult women, ages 25 to 32, who are high functioning and independent, needing only light reminders and guidance with daily routines. This role is ideal for a Mature or Retired person with a steady, confident personality. We are looking for someone who is consistent, dependable, and able to provide clear guidance to the young ladies. The right person can maintain structure, follow through on expectations, and support routines in a calm and respectful way.

You will assist with light snack and dinner preparation, provide guidance with daily chores, and administer medications as directed. The ladies are easy‐going, sweet, and respond well to clear direction, making this a calm and supportive work environment.

APPLICANTS must be reliable and able to work Monday - Friday, 2pm to 6pm, should live in or near Camarillo, Thousand Oaks, or Simi Valley. A steady 1‐year caregiving or DSP employment history in the same job is required. We are looking for someone who shows stability; frequent job‐hopping may not be a good fit for this role. REQUIREMENTS Fingerprint and TB clearance, First Aid-CPR certification, DSP I certificate, or will to obtain independently within 30 days (online courses) .

Our ARF home is a licensed Level 3 Adult Residential licensed home is located on a large, quiet property in Moorpark, CA. The property houses two separate adult residential homes, each supporting small groups of residents in a safe, structured environment. This particular home serves three young adult female residents who are largely self‐sufficient and benefit from mild reminders, companionship, and a calm daily routine.
All three homes operate with a fully engaged DSP team that works together as one unified group. Our staff communicates closely, supports one another, and maintains consistent expectations across the property to ensure stability, safety, and continuity of care for all residents.
