We are looking for passionate, driven individuals to join our team focused on Delivering Solutions and Improving Lives.ResponsibilitiesNV5 is seeking a Civil / Site Engineer – Project Manager to support the growth of our Philadelphia practice. This role offers the opportunity to lead civil/site engineering projects in the public and private realm while working within a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment.The position will initially focus on managing and delivering civil engineering design for park, trail, higher-education, and community redevelopment projects, working closely with landscape architects, planners, and fellow engineers. Over time, this role is expected to take on broader leadership responsibility, helping to expand NV5’s site-civil capabilities in the Philadelphia region with an emphasis on sustainable and resilient infrastructure.Manage civil/site engineering projects through planning, design, permitting, and constructionDevelop site layouts, grading and drainage plans, utility designs, and stormwater management systemsCoordinate closely with internal disciplines and external stakeholdersOversee scope, schedule, budget, and quality controlServe as a primary point of contact for clients and agenciesMentor junior staff and support team developmentAssist with proposals and business development efforts as neededQualificationsBS in Civil or Environmental Engineering (or similar)Approximately 8+ years of civil/site engineering experience2+ years of experience leading projects or technical teamsStrong background in site design, stormwater management, permitting, and construction documentationExperience in the planning and design of urban stormwater management systems within public rights-of-ways as well as private development sitesProfessional Engineer (PE) licenseStrong communication and project management skillsAbility to collaborate effectively in a multidisciplinary settingPreferred QualificationsMaster’s degree in engineering or related fieldExperience preparing technical proposals and fee estimatesProficiency with Civil 3D, HydroCAD, SWMM, StormCAD, or similar toolsFamiliarity with GIS conceptsSustainability-focused credentials or training (LEED, Envision, DBIA, etc.)Why NV5NV5 is an ENR Top 500 firm providing engineering and consulting services to public and private clients worldwide.
