Your responsibilities will include: Preparing fresh ingredients includingmeats, seafood, and vegetables. Cooking and plating dishes to perfection whilemaintainingconsistency and quality. Following recipes to ensure consistency and accommodating dietary requests. Managing inventory by monitoring stock levels andmaintainingproper food storage. Keeping the kitchen clean and adhering to food safety and sanitation standards. Culinary apprenticeship or other formal training preferred. Able to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructionsfurnishedin written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. Must have or obtain within the introductory period, a Food Handlers Card certification. What to Expect Be on your feet for long shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Handle heavy kitchen equipment and ingredients (up to 50lbs+). Work in a fast-paced, high-energy kitchen environment. Adapt to seasonal menu changes andspecial events.
