Make an immediate impact in the lives of students as a Speech-Language Pathologist in a vibrant school-based setting near Lexington, SC. This full-time, on-site opportunity is designed for passionate professionals eager to support pediatric populations, making a difference within educational environments. The position is open to both experienced clinicians and recent graduates ready to complete their Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY).
What We’re Looking For:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current state licensure to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or actively pursuing CFY
- Strong pediatric experience or interest in working with school-aged children
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
- Commitment to collaborative teamwork and supporting student achievement
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments, diagnoses, and treatment of speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders for K-12 students
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each child’s unique needs
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams—including teachers, parents, and other therapists—to optimize student progress
- Maintain comprehensive documentation in compliance with school and regulatory standards
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to staff consultations and trainings
- Foster a supportive, positive, and engaging learning environment for all students
