You will work closely with our Center Director to help grow Mathnasium of Oconomowoc into one of the top centers in the country! We believe in making math make sense and making math fun! Our Lead Instructor will be needed to work most of our open hours each week, as you'll be an integral part of our day-to-day operations. School Year hours are 2-7pm Monday-Thursday and 10:00am-2pm Saturdays. With that being said, we are flexible whenever you need to take time off. This role can be perfect for a college student or someone looking for steady, part-time work. We set ourselves apart by providing Lead Instructors with: A rewarding leadership opportunity to transform the lives of K-12th grade students Consistent, part-time hours after school and on weekends (hours vary in summer) A fun, supportive, and encouraging work culture Opportunities for advancement Continuous training on education, sales, and management best practices All necessary curriculum and instructional tools Job Responsibilities: Teach/tutor in-center, online, and/or via hybrid delivery using the Mathnasium Method™, terminology, and teaching practices Manage students’ learning progress and engagement throughout instructional sessions Assist the Center Director with administrative tasks each day, including the upkeep and creation of student learning plans Support the Center Director in administering student assessments and developing student learning plans Provide exceptional customer service by building relationships with families and communicating student progress Lead and coach team members to effectively deliver individualized instruction in a group setting Mentor and support employee development by providing on-the-job training to instructional staff Become proficient with digital educational materials and processesSupport the maintenance of a safe and professional learning environment Qualifications: Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills Eagerness to learn and be trained Ability to cultivate teamwork and balance education and clerical responsibilities Basic math competency Proficiency in computer skills All applicants will be required to take a math literacy test to demonstrate basic math proficiency, provide work authorization, and pass a background check. #J-18808-Ljbffr
