About the Position

TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Med/Surg / Tele RN in Bloomington, Indiana, 47408!

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical Surgical/Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience required License: Must have Indiana license, compact license, or temporary license prior to start date Certifications: Must have BLS and NIHSS certifications Must-Have: Previous charge nurse experience preferred Experience with Cerner charting system required Ability to manage a patient ratio of 5:1 Description: Charge coverage may be necessary based on operational needs. Unit coverage may require enhanced responsibilities with training and resources provided. Candidates must be comfortable with potential charge nurse duties. Holiday request time off is limited for major holidays like Labor Day weekend, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. Candidate must be willing to work 2 of 3 major holidays. Experience in various medical-surgical diagnoses is essential. Floating to different units within the facility is required for all travelers. Candidates must possess skills in various areas including IV management and telemonitoring. A variety of patient care experiences, including post-operative management and wound care, are necessary. Teamwork with interdisciplinary support services is essential for patient care.
