Hr generalist

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented HR Generalist to join a fast-paced hospitality and gaming landmark in the heart of Las Vegas. This role is perfect for an HR professional who is comfortable working within current systems while helping lead the charge toward digital transformation.

You will manage the day-to-day HR lifecycle-from onboarding to benefits-and play a key role in our upcoming transition to more advanced HR technology. If you thrive in a high-volume hospitality environment and enjoy the "people" side of HR as much as the "process" side, we want to hear from you.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

• Benefits & Onboarding: Facilitate a seamless experience for new hires, including orientation and I-9 verification. Act as the primary point of contact for health, dental, and 401(k) inquiries.
• HRIS Management: Manage daily data entry and reporting within Paychex . You will be a key contributor during our evaluation and potential implementation of UKG , assisting with data migration and system testing.
• Workers' Compensation: Handle the intake, tracking, and reporting of workplace injury claims, ensuring compliance with Nevada state regulations and safety standards.
• Compliance: Maintain accurate digital and physical personnel records. Ensure all employees maintain active gaming licenses and health cards as required by Las Vegas local ordinances.
• Employee Relations: Serve as a trusted advisor to staff and management, assisting with conflict resolution, performance documentation, and policy interpretation.
• Leaves of Absence: Administer FMLA, ADA, and other leave requests, providing clear guidance to employees on their rights and returning to work.
• Must be able to speak Spanish
