Travel Nurse (RN) Med/Surg (Medical-Surgical)

Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel RN - Medical/Surgical - Kingsbury Unit



Shift: Nights / 7p-7a, 12x3, 36 hrs/week



Length: 13 weeks

Every other weekend
Rotating holidays



Requirements:

• NH or Compact License
• Minimum 2 years of equivalent experience required
• Minimum of 2 previous travel assignments completed
• Post-surgical drains, Central line care/maintenance, Foley insertion, G tubes/J tubes/NG tubes/PEG tubes, IV medication administration/IV push, Wound care, O2 therapy required
• BLS
• Telemetry experience preferred
• EPIC experience preferred
• ACLS preferred

Other Details:

• Kingsbury is a 27-bed medical-surgical unit
• Patient population is primarily the elderly but can be as young as 18. Common diagnoses include post op ortho, general surgery, ETOH, CHF and pneumonia
• RN Patient Ratios: 5:1
