Job Description As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed in Franklin Park, IL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a food and beverage location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service. You will communicate professionally with employees and visitors, report observations, and support a welcoming environment. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $18.73 / Hour Job Schedule: Thur 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM Fri 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM Sat 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM Sun 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the food and beverage production facility, warehouse areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity or conditions. Monitor access points, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and maintain required entry, delivery, and incident documentation. Report observed hazards, maintenance concerns, policy violations, and security-related incidents to site leadership and Allied Universal management. Minimum Requirements: Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
