Bronx, New York - Infectious Disease Nurse Practitioner Opportunity

Clinical Role:

• Permanent, full-time position
• Seeking a board certified Nurse Practitioner
• Multispecialty group setting
• Nursing home-based infectious disease care
• Must have at least 6 months of infectious disease experience
• H1B visa sponsorship available
• J1 Waiver and CONRAD 30 candidates welcome
• Spanish-speaking preferred (not required)

Position Overview:

Responsibilities:

• Provide infectious disease consults in long-term care settings
• Manage infections including HIV, Hep B/C, pneumonia, UTIs, sepsis risk, wound infections, and multidrug-resistant organisms
• Order and interpret labs, cultures, and imaging
• Prescribe and manage antimicrobial therapy (IV and oral antibiotics)
• Collaborate with ID physicians and interdisciplinary teams
• Support infection control practices and antimicrobial stewardship initiatives
• Educate staff and families on infection prevention and treatment plans
• Maintain accurate EMR documentation and regulatory compliance

Qualifications:

• Active, unrestricted NP license
• DEA required
• BLS/CPR certification required
• Master's degree in Nursing from an accredited NP program
• Minimum 6 months of relevant experience (LTC/SNF preferred; hospital/outpatient considered)
• EMR familiarity preferred (Sigma, Visual, PCC - training available)
• Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills

Compensation & Benefits:

• Salary range: $130,000-$150,000 annually
