Senior Property Accountant

Property Accountant Seeking a Property Accountant for a real estate company here locally in the Irvine area. Ideally looking for prior real estate industry experience and familiar with Yardi Position will property accounting for portfolio of holdings. Core responsibilities will include driving the month end close, bank reconciliations, journal entries for prepaids, accruals, and adjusting entries. Oversight of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable (AP/AR) Audit requests & special projects. Ensure accurate recording of revenues and expenses. Month-end activities, journal entries, GL & account reconciliation, and accruals. Account analysis to review monthly flux analysis and variance analysis between actual and budget. Yardi highly desired and strong Excel skills Strong communication and presentation skills would be necessary.
