Skilled Nursing Facility Medical Biller

Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) Medical Biller: Reliant Management Group is an established medical billing and consulting company providing services to Skilled Nursing Facilities (SNFs). We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented SNF Medical Biller who can work independently, manage multiple priorities, and collaborate effectively with a team. Position Summary The SNF Medical Biller is responsible for supporting the billing and collections process, ensuring timely reimbursement, resolving billing issues, and maintaining accurate records for Medicare, Medicaid, Managed Care, and other payer sources. Primary Responsibilities Prepare and submit claims to Managed Care and other payer sources. Review, research, and assist with the resolution of denied or unpaid claims. Follow up on outstanding accounts and aging balances. Organize billing, rebilling, and supporting documentation. Generate billing, collection, and aging reports for management review. Assist in ensuring accurate and timely reimbursement. Perform other duties as assigned. Required Qualifications At least one (1) year of healthcare, medical billing, SNF, or LTC-related experience preferred. Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid/Medi-Cal, Managed Care, HMOs, and Hospice billing processes. Understanding of accounts receivable, collections, claims follow-up, and denial management. Knowledge of admissions procedures and insurance verification processes. Familiarity with PointClickCare (PCC) preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to prioritize tasks, work independently, and meet deadlines. Preferred Qualifications Knowledge of Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) or Long-Term Care (LTC) billing practices. Previous experience as a Biller, Business Office Assistant, Assistant Business Office Manager, or related healthcare administrative role.
