Learn more at (The Lead Analyst, Data Product & Marketplace Lifecycle is the hands-on operational engine driving user adoption, self-service consumption, and commercial integration for the "MedTech Brain."The Lead Analyst, is responsible for the end-to-end business lifecycle of our data assets within the Alation Data Marketplace framework and is the tactical product owner responsible for deconstructing outbound functional requirements, packaging data into consumer-ready products, leading onboarding workflows, and serving as the daily business counterpart to IT/JJT engineering teams implementing downstream API and marketplace connectivity.Key Role ResponsibilitiesAlation Marketplace Lifecycle Ownership: Own the management of data products within the Alation Marketplace leading all aspects of onboarding, access workflows, consumer readiness, and lifecycle governance.Functional Requirement Deconstruction: Directly parter with downstream data scientists, business units, and clinical application teams to deconstruct their data consumption needs into clear functional requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.Gold Layer Semantic Alignment: Define the business rules for cross-domain data aggregations and calculated metrics, confirming technical Gold-layer models match consumer specifications.QualificationsRequired Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Systems, Management Information Systems, or a related field.Required Experience: Proven track record in business systems analysis, functional product management, or technical business analysis within a regulated framework.Sophisticated proficiency in Agile tools (Jira, Confluence); direct operational experience demonstrating data catalog marketplaces (specifically Alation Data Marketplace); capability with a validated curiosity about bridging the gap between highly development teams and business consumers.Other RequirementsThis role may require up to 10% of domestic and/or international travel based on business needs.The attendance policy for this role is fully onsiteJohnson & Johnson is an equal opportunity employers, and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, genetic information, national origin, protected veteran status, disability status, or any other characteristic protected by law.We will ensure that individuals with disabilities are provided reasonable accommodation to participate in the job application or interview process, to perform crucial job functions, and to receive other benefits and privileges of employment.
