Job Title

RN – Acute Care / Medical-Surgical Adult

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Night Shift | 12-Hour Shifts with Weekend Rotation

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to adult patients in an Acute Care / Medical-Surgical setting
• Utilize the nursing process to plan, coordinate, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care
• Apply specialized knowledge related to acute and chronic disease states, orthopedic surgery recovery, and hybrid cath lab procedure patients
• Provide Intermediate Care support in the CCU as needed
• Participate in call rotation, taking one call shift per two-week scheduling period as required by staffing needs

Required Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in the state of Colorado
• Minimum of 2 years of Acute Care, Medical-Surgical, or Telemetry RN experience
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association
• Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association
• Flu vaccination required (no declinations accepted) for the current flu season, applicable October 1 through April 1

Preferred Experience / Skills

• 3 or more years of RN Medical-Surgical experience
• Experience with telemetry monitoring and intermediate-level patient acuity
