Associate Quality Engineer

Job Description Entry Level experience in both fast-paced and precision job shop environment, quality control and manufacturing processes. Mentoring of team members on quality methods, internal auditing, root cause, corrective actions, and documenting non-conformances for ISO 9000 certified machining processes . Knowledge of commercial nuclear and aerospace industries and destructive and non-destructive testing. Experience should include in-process and final inspection of components using visual and dimensional inspections to controlled procedures. CCM experience and knowledge. 4-7 years of work experience in QC/QA and Continuous Improvements Roles; Demonstrated ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision. Self-starter with initiative and follow through. Results driven. Desire to show improvement and impact. Team player willing to do what it takes to get the job done and pitch in where needed. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work well with others. This person will partner with many departments and functional areas and will need to develop effective relationships. Excellent communication skills with all levels of an organization. Clear communication and follow through are important for success. Computer literate and strong organization skills.
