Job Title

Emergency Room Registered Nurse

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights | 3x12-hour shifts (36 hours weekly) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a 28-bed emergency department including 4 trauma bays, 2 behavioral health rooms, and 22 cardiac monitor rooms
• Manage a fast-paced environment with high patient turnover, prioritizing patient safety and quality of care
• Collaborate within a team-oriented setting to deliver timely and effective emergency nursing interventions
• Monitor and assess patients on cardiac monitors and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
• Participate in orientation during the first week of the assignment prior to transitioning to the standard shift schedule

Required Qualifications

• Active Hawaii Registered Nurse license required by the start of the assignment
• Current emergency room nursing experience
• Ability to work night shift, 3x12-hour shifts per week
• Experience in trauma, behavioral health, and cardiac monitoring environments

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a high-acuity or Level II/III trauma center setting
• Familiarity with behavioral health patient management within an emergency department
• Strong adaptability and communication skills in a fast-paced team environment
