Entry Level Cultivation Technician

Cultivation Technician Reports to: Cultivation Supervisors, Cultivation Manager, Master Grower General Summary The Cultivation Technician supports the production, maintenance, and overall health of all crops in a large‑scale facility. Responsibilities include ensuring plant quality, performing tasks assigned by the Cultivation Manager, and advancing efficiency across the cultivation cycle. Essential Job Functions Adhere to all SOPs for Cultivation, Cloning, and Pruning/Defoliating. Follow performance metrics and guidelines from managers and supervisors. Ensure accurate plant tagging in compliance with Metrc protocols. Implement proper cleaning, sanitation, and binning procedures. Maintain cleanliness, collect plant waste for weighing, and dispose of waste per compliance guidelines. Follow strict biosecurity protocols and maintain sanitation of tools and personnel. Monitor plants for growth issues, disease, or infestations and treat accordingly. Continuously clean and sanitize the grow facility and machinery. Accurately track and record data during each cultivation phase. Ensure compliance with CA state regulations and company SOPs. Minimum Job Qualifications Detail oriented. Hand dexterity and fast repetitive hand movements. Effective communication skills. Flexibility and adaptability. Must be at least 21 years of age. Physical Requirements Reach overhead, bend, squat, kneel, and carry products continuously. Walk extensively throughout the warehouse. Stand for long periods of time. Lift up to 35 lbs and carry a distance of one hundred feet. Use hands for delicate manipulation and sensory evaluation. Maintain balance while walking, standing, or crouching. Twist upper torso repetitively. Reach up and out with hands and arms. Employee Conduct This position has no supervisory responsibilities. Expected Hours of Work Full‑time position.
