OCI Operations Engineer

OCI Operations Engineer Everyone is trying to “harness the cloud”, but not everyone knows how. As an Oracle Cloud Engineer, you will help us maintain cloud‑based solutions for some of the nation's toughest problems, using the latest cloud technologies and improving client environments. Qualifications 3+ years of experience supporting operations and maintenance for secure DoD information management systems. 3+ years of experience with OCI services and cloud‑native architecture patterns, including Compute, Autonomous Database, Exadata Database, security policies, security groups, and network security. 3+ years of experience with Infrastructure‑as‑Code, including Terraform or CloudFormation. 3+ years of experience with Linux Operating Systems and command‑line interfaces. Experience with scripting languages (Bash, Ansible, or YAML). Experience with containerization, including Docker, Kubernetes, and container orchestration. Experience supporting advanced OCI solutions and hardening government systems following STIG requirements. Secret clearance. Bachelor’s degree. Ability to obtain a DoD 8570 or 8140 IAT Level II Baseline Certification within 30 days of hire date. Nice to Have Designing solutions for migration from AWS to OCI. Experience with OCI AI, ML, and LLM offerings. Experience with the Atlassian tool suite (Jira, Confluence). Experience with Agile development techniques and ceremonies. Knowledge of security best practices, compliance requirements, site reliability engineering concepts. OCI Certifications such as OCI Operations Associate or OCI Developer Certification. Compensation Projected salary range: $69,400.00 to $158,000.00 (annualized USD). Compensation includes bonuses, profit sharing, and other applicable benefits. Full‑time and part‑time employees working at least 20 hours a week are eligible to participate in the benefit programs.
