As a Security Officer - Full Time in Moline, IL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Join Allied Universal at a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location as a Front Desk professional, where you will welcome visitors, manage access and badges, monitor security-related activity, and support a professional first impression. In this stationary role, you will use strong communication, teamwork, and integrity while helping to support a caring, reliable, and innovative environment for everyone entering the facility.

Pay Rate: $19.25 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or when appropriate, emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Monitor front desk activity, greet visitors, confirm identification and/or access permissions, and help to direct employees, contractors, and guests in accordance with site protocols.
• Answer phones, manage visitor logs and/or badge processes, and communicate clearly with site contacts regarding arrivals, deliveries, and other front desk activity.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to the appropriate personnel when needed.
• Observe and report unusual activity, policy violations, and/or maintenance or access control concerns from the front desk area to help support site operations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• The ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
• Be at least 19 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
