Work Environment The position is full-time and onsite at our state-of-the-art rehabilitation center located in the vibrant community of Cape Coral, Florida. Key Responsibilities In this role, you will engage in a variety of tasks that are crucial to patient success: * Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess the physical abilities and limitations of your patients. * Develop, document, and implement individualized treatment plans designed to address each patient's unique needs and goals. * Utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques and modalities to enhance patient function and mobility, directly contributing to their recovery process. * Monitor patient progress and outcomes, adjusting treatment strategies as necessary to ensure optimal results. * Provide education and training to patients and their caregivers regarding exercise regimens, prevention strategies, and overall health improvement. * Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians, occupational therapists, and other health professionals to optimize patient care and outcomes. * Demonstrate exceptional customer service skills to enhance patient satisfaction and experience. * Maintain documentation and adhere to healthcare regulations, ensuring compliance with state and federal guidelines. Patient Population / Client Focus You will have the opportunity to provide care to a diverse patient demographic, including: * Orthopedic patients recovering from surgeries and injuries * Pediatric patients requiring specialized growth and development treatments * Neurologic patients dealing with conditions like stroke or multiple sclerosis * Athletes and sports medicine patients looking to optimize performance and recover from sports-related injuries Qualifications To be successful in this role, candidates must meet the following qualifications: * A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program. * A valid state license to practice physical therapy in Florida. * Basic Life Support Certification by the American Heart Association. * Strong communication skills to build rapport with patients and their families. * Proficiency in documentation using electronic medical records and other related software. Preferred Experience While we highly encourage all qualified candidates to apply, preference will be given to individuals with: * A Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree. * A minimum of two years' clinical experience in a rehabilitation or outpatient setting. * Experience working with various patient populations, including athletes and pediatrics. * Current CPR certification. Compensation and Benefits Valley Care Solution Physical Therapy values the contributions of our employees.
